Who Are We?
Cwmbwrla Day Services are part of services provided by the City and County of Swansea Social Services Department.
The service also includes input from the Occupational Therapy Department of Cefn Coed Hospital in Swansea.
A wide range of activities and facilities are offered for people with mental health problems.
Practical Skills
Art, Craft, Gardening, Daily Living Sklills Training, Anxiety Management. Counselling.
Computer skills training offering nationally recognised qualification. ECDL (Eurppean Computer Driving License. And informal training for Basic computer skills from beginner, Photographic Enhancement, Web Design.
Sport & Leisure
Football, Weight Training, Swimming, Cycling, Rambling, Womens Fitness, Relaxation and Yoga.
College Courses
We work closely with Swansea College and D.A.C.E. (Department of Adult Continuing Education) at University College Swansea, providing courses such as Art, Personal Development, Numeracy, Literacy, Sociology etc. Some of these courses are accredited.
Social Aspects
Cwmbwrla Day Services offers a friendly atmosphere with pleasant seating areas, both indoors and outdoors. A wide range of meals and snacks are available during lunchtime and hot and cold drinks are available at all times.
