The I.T. suites at Cwmbwrla Day centre are equipped with 18 windows xp pcs. Each computer has Microsoft Office. All computers have internet access. We also have facilities for multimedia use, including a number of quality scanners and printers.
Service users who have experience with windows computers may also have access to Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw and Macromedia Studio web design tools.
We cater for beginners to advanced. Service users who have no previous experience of computers are welcome.
Accredited courses available:
- ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence)
- OCN Entry Level Word Processing
We provide informal non accredited training for web design and photographic enhancement.
We also have a very succeful Family History and a Computer Build section with a Tutor.
Service users can use our computers to:
- Surf the internet
- Use email
- Copy to disk their digital photos
- Research a hobby or interest
