Swansea Council for Voluntary Service is a Registered Charity and Company Limited By Guarantee. It is managed by a Board of Trustees, comprised of elected voluntary representatives from SCVS member organisations, and local authority officers.

SCVS's Volunteering Section is committed to furthering the effectiveness and capacity of the Voluntary Sector in Swansea by:

Offering advice, guidance and information to members of the public who would like to volunteer
Offering a range of services to organisations who use volunteers in their work.
