Text on this site can be made larger or smaller for easier reading using the controls at the top left of every page.

Keyboard navigation for graphical browsers

In Mozilla , Safari or Internet Explorer: Press F12 to jump onto the navbar, then move around the menus with the arrow keys. You can activate a link by pressing Enter as normal, or jump back onto the page with F12 again.

In Opera: You can move around the navbar and menus using the A and Q [anchor navigation] keys

In Konqueror: You can move around the navbar and menus using the Tab key, and activate a link with the Enter key as normal.

Increasing Readability of Web Pages

If your mouse contains a wheel for scrolling, you can change font size on the fly when viewing a Web page.

  • Press and hold Ctrl.
  • Scroll down (or towards yourself) to enlarge the font size.
  • Scroll up (or away from yourself) to reduce the font size.

You might find it useful to reduce font size when printing a Web page, so that you can fit more content on the page.

Internet Explorer 7: Click on the Bottom Right tab of the browser to change the zoom level.
